When designing your kitchen, we carefully consider both practical and aesthetic elements to ensure you make the most out of your available space, creating a kitchen that is as beautiful as it is efficient. When it comes to installation, our fabulous team of fitters and tradespeople ensure that all our projects are completed to the highest standards.

Flooring and Tiles
We also offer a wide selection of flooring options, including LVT from Invictus, stunning porcelain and ceramic tiles from Ca Pietra, solid timber flooring, and convenient Clik options. Many of our samples are available for you to explore in person, so we invite you to book a visit and come and have a look.

Windows and Doors
Aluminium or PVC doors and windows can also be supplied and fitted. Our pricing for these items is usually highly competitive.
Alongside kitchens, we specialise in designing and installing a variety of other functional spaces to enhance your home; Utility rooms, boot rooms, bootilities, home offices and wardrobes are all areas we can help with.

Building work
Where structural work is required to extend or alter your property, we will happily advise on planning (where possible), appoint and consult structural engineers, supply and install steel beams and RSJs where required and complete the entirety of the work removing the stress of liaising with multiple tradespeople.

Every detail within your project can be completed by our skilled team. We work closely with a number of professional and reputable local businesses to ensure that we are able to offer a full service across your whole scheme.

Let's Begin
After making initial contact with us via email, by phone or on our socials, we will give you a ring to find out a little more about your project and schedule a time for an initial consultation. We can come and see you at your home, but we usually find it works best if you visit our design studio in Newstead. We have our showroom, masses of samples of doors, worksurfaces and handles for you to see and touch and we can begin to discuss the sort of style you are looking for. It’s really helpful if you can have an idea of budget in mind and perhaps some pictures of styles you like, or don’t like. If you have existing architect plans, please do bring them along.

Site survey
After our initial consultation, we will book in a time to come and visit your home/site. We will measure the space and can also discuss and investigate any structural changes that may need to be made. We will check the important details like where the water comes in etc.

Of course every project is different, but this is a generic outline of what to expect if you choose to begin your journey with The Stamford Kitchen Company.

Design time
With all the details of your wishes, budget and the dimensions, we will get to work here in the studio. We use cutting edge CAD design software to draw up plans, elevations and stunning visuals of your new space. At this stage we will also put together an estimate to give you an idea of costings. Everything will be itemised, so if there’s something that’s not quite in budget or isn’t exactly what you are after, it can be easily adjusted. At this stage, the floor plans can be released for you to take home for a fee of £180. This is fully refundable at the time of your deposit payment.

Let the work begin
After agreeing all of the finer details of the design and estimate, we will ask for a deposit payment (further details of payment plans can be found in our Ts and Cs). You will then be provided with a full schedule of works including all key dates and our fantastic team will get started with the transformations! Your project manager will be on site regularly and will be available on the phone throughout the course of the works.

Ta Da!
The length of time the project takes will vary depending on whether we are completing structural work or working on more than one room, but rest assured that we are fastidious about our end dates! If we say that we will be finished on a date, we do everything we can to stick to this. Once we have finished your project, we will hand your room(s) back to you to enjoy. We will still be here in the studio though, so if you have any questions or queries, you can always give us a call, or just pop in for a coffee!

What price do your kitchens start from?
Kitchens can vary in price hugely. We can supply whole kitchens starting from £15,ooo. The price of your kitchen will always depend on the appliances you choose, the size of the space, the material the doors are made from and the worktop type among other factors. We are also happy to reuse existing appliances where possible to help you avoid wastage and unnecessary costs.

I have a great builder, can they fit one of your kitchens?
Yes, absolutely! Howdens are not the only company providing a supply only service. We are more than happy to supply our kitchens with the same in depth design service and full fitting plans for your own builder to fit.

Do you charge for designs?
Can you help with the whole project?
We are happy to provide a free consultation service, where will meet with you and talk through your project. We will take measurements, or use plans provided and will draw up a design based on your wishes. You will be invited to view the plans, but should you wish to take the plans away with you, we would ask for a small fee that will be refunded when you pay a deposit.
We appreciate that many people have full time jobs, children and busy lives and managing a variety of tradespeople on a tight schedule is less than fun! Therefore, we are very happy to offer a full turnkey service. This means that after we have agreed all elements of the project with you, we will take care of everything, from synchronising the schedule of works to managing every delivery and contractor, to making sure the cupboards are all wiped out ready for you to use.

How long does it take for you to do my kitchen?
The duration of the project will vary depending on the quantity of work being completed. However, a typical kitchen project including removing the existing kitchen and installing new should take no longer than 3 weeks.

How quickly can I get a kitchen from you?
We like to allow 4-6 weeks for a kitchen delivery. If there are made to measure items or more complex colours this will usually take longer.
